We didn’t learn pipeline integrity from a textbook. We developed, validated, and applied the framework inside a major Canadian transmission system.
IntegraFrame was founded by engineers who spent years inside a major Canadian liquid transmission operator — designing integrity programs, responding to regulatory audits, and making excavation decisions on real pipelines.
That work produced a systemwide dent assessment framework that screened over 5,000 dents and was validated against 79 field excavations with no false negatives in the study dataset.
After publishing the methodology at IPC, PPIM, and in peer-reviewed journals, we recognized it was too valuable to remain inside a single operator. We founded IntegraFrame to bring that capability to the broader industry — through DentSavant and specialized engineering services.
Based in Edmonton, Alberta — we work directly with transmission and midstream operators across North America.
Our founders managed integrity programs, responded to regulatory audits, and made excavation decisions at one of Canada's largest liquid transmission operators. That operational context shapes everything we build — from assessment logic to report formatting.
Our methodology has been validated against 79 excavated features with NDE outcomes and 13 FEA-modelled dents with full-field shape comparison. Results are published with co-authors from Trans Mountain and Enbridge — not proprietary claims.
Combined expertise in pipeline engineering and software development. DentSavant is built in Python and Qt, runs on local infrastructure, and can process assessment workflows at a scale that would be impractical to execute manually.
Co-Founder & Principal Engineer
Amandeep holds a Ph.D. in composite materials and is a professional engineer with deep expertise in pipeline mechanical integrity, dent assessment, finite element analysis, and engineering software development. Prior to co-founding IntegraFrame, he led the development and implementation of dent integrity assessment programs at a major Canadian liquid transmission operator — work that helped shape the methodologies behind DentSavant and IntegraFrame’s broader engineering services.
His research on automated, high-throughput FEA for pipeline dents — including 3D shape-matching convergence in 1–3 iterations — was presented at PPIM 2026, IPC 2026 and forms the core of DentSavant's Level-3 engine. He is an active member of the API 1183 committee, contributing to the development of the second edition of the standard.

Muntaseer holds a Ph.D. in structural reliability, is a professional engineer and has spent over a decade at the intersection of pipeline integrity research and field application. He was instrumental in developing probabilistic assessment frameworks for dents, corrosion, and cracking — work that produced the screening and detailed assessment tools validated across a major Canadian pipeline system.
His research on Monte Carlo-based fatigue assessment and safe excavation pressure has been validated against full-scale test data and real excavation findings — providing the statistical rigour underpinning DentSavant's probabilistic modules. He is an active member of the API 1183 committee, contributing to the second edition of the standard.
We prefer to begin with a real engineering problem, not a generic pitch. Give us one of your dents and we will show you how DentSavant handles the assessment before you commit to anything. If the output does not demonstrate value, we have not earned your business.
The core assessment methods in DentSavant are traceable to peer-reviewed research. Calculations are structured to support referencing, technical audit, and defensible regulatory review. Our papers are public; our methodology is transparent.
We flag complications early — data formatting effort, Abaqus license dependencies, GUI development status, scope uncertainties. We'd rather set accurate expectations than overpromise. If something will take longer or cost more than expected, you'll hear it from us first.
Whether you need a dent assessment, a software deployment, or specialized engineering support, we would welcome the opportunity to understand your use case and define the right next step.
